SOAR GROUPS
Students in 6th - 8th grades meet in what is called their "SOAR Groups". SOAR stands for Students Organized Around Relationships and allows students to discuss "real-life" character and social issues that affect them everyday. For example, topics in 2024 included the "Christian World View" and living Biblically in a secular world! It was great to hear their comments as they identified the impact of the things in society today that challenge their faith and how they can avoid such pitfalls. Soar Groups meet one to two times each month to tackle the "tough subjects" that affect Middle Schoolers.
